Great A Grade Win Celebrates 150 Years of Football

The Mighty Maggies won a classic match against arch rival Trinity Aquinas today. NF 11.16 (82) TA 12.3 (75). They came from behind to kick four goals into the breeze in the final quarter and win by seven points. Coach Scott Misich inspired the team with a magnificent three-quarter time address. Good players were Dickinson, Wedgwood, Carter. The club had another six wins with only the A Reserve going down, by seven points, to the ladder leader Trinity Aquinas. The West coast Eagles Phil Scott Colts were again impressive beating TA's by eight goals while the West Coast Eagles Laurie Keene Colts did very well away to Kingsley to win by seven points. Fremantle Docker Shaun McManus tossed the coin before the game and spoke to officials of both teams at a half time afternoon tea.
