Former East Fremantle and Claremont footballer, Scott Misich, has been re-appointed as Club Coach of the North Fremantle Amateur Football Club for the 2010 season. Misich, who has won a Colin Jamieson Medal for fairest and best in a grand final, will be in his fifth season as a coach at North Fremantle. He took the A Grade Colts to a Premiership win and has had North Fremantle’s senior A Grade team in the past two Grand Finals. He said official training would begin at the club on January 12, 2010. Three scratch matches had already been arranged with Rockingham, Wesley Curtin and University. The first game of the season is scheduled for April 10. A club legend, Shane “Shovel” Keily has been chosen as coach of the club’s A Reserve team for the second year in a row. Trent Barrett was named as H Grade coach. Negotiations are continuing over the appointments of four coaches (E Grade, E Reserves, Phil Scott A Grade colts and the second Colts team). More than 50 players attended the Annual General Meeting of the club in the Stan Whipp Hall at Gilbert Fraser Reserve this week to hear the coaching staff announced. The hierarchy of the club was maintained with Ross McCaffrey being re-elected Patron, Glenn Stephens re-elected President, Andrew Maiorana as vice-President, Baden Pratt (Secretary), Daniel Hunt (Asst. Secretary), Paul Smith (Treasurer), Peter Grosser (Delegate), Robert Looby (Registrar), Clint Wiltshire (Social Secretary), Tom Beange and Jackson Jones (Football Development Officers), Ron Saxon (Ground Manager), and committee members Corry Grosser, Michael Valentine, and Trent and Marnie Barrett.
