On behalf of the newly elected 2008 committee welcome to the start of a new year at the home of the mighty Maggies.
The 2007 season saw all of our six sides playing finals. Both our Colts teams took out the premiership in what was an extremely pleasing result, especially for the future of the club. In 2008, we will enter the season with five senior sides and two colts sides, which will mean the depth at the club will be high.
On the field, Scott Misich has been appointed as A Grade coach and brings with him both passion and experience at both WAFL and Amateur level football. He will be ably supported by Andrew Woodall (A Reserves) with Dan Prigmore (an outstanding coach who was Andrew Woodall's assistant last year) taking over the Phil Scott A Colts.
2008 represents a celebration of 150 years for Australian Rules Football and as one of the oldest amateur clubs in WA, we will be recognising the event throughout the year. On behalf of the committee we hope to see you down at the club during the up coming season to enjoy the continued success that we are having.
